Beez (The)The Spiegeltent11 & 12 Mar at 11.15pm Tickets $22 (Conc $17) The Beez are a four piece from Berlin playing a fast and furious mix of Eastern European and Western pop hits with accordion, acoustic bass guitar, two acoustic guitars and four voices. You might describe us as "cabaret" - there are comedy elements and fab costumes, but the emphasis is definitely on the music. The Beez don't cover songs in the conventional sense - they rearrange them, much in the same way as Al Capone might in bygone days have rearranged the face of a hapless business associate. Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit, Music by Madonna all get overhauled.
