The Arts Centre Forecourt, 100 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne Bizarre BazaarSun 9 Nov - Sun 14 Dec from 9.30pm - 1pm Tickets Free Immerse yourself in fabulous fashion and unique crafts as our hand picked selection of local designers showcase their wares within the sumptuous setting of the Spiegeltent. Over six Sundays we will open our doors for the Bizarre Bazaar, a boutique market with parades and displays by some of Melbourne’s most stylish and sassy artisans. Following the glamour of last year’s Famous Fashion Fridays, which saw a number of local designers grace the Spiegeltent catwalk on Friday afternoons, we have expanded the concept to offer designers the opportunity to sell their products from market style stalls situated in the venue’s classic mirrored booths. Designers will collaborate with our Bizarre Bazaar coordinator to develop a concept for parading their product within the Spiegeltent to fashion industry guests and visitors to the Bazaar. Entry is free and all are welcome to take this fantastic opportunity to view some of Melbourne’s fashion innovators inside the lavish splendour of the Spiegeltent. Browse the stalls and find your very own piece of original treasure, marvel at the displays and see what Melbourne’s designers have to offer on the catwalk, indulge in a morning tea cake and soak up the atmosphere of the Bizarre Bazaar.
The Spiegeltent Melbourne concert program will be available October 2008.
